Getting There

  • Train

    From Nice, head to Nice-Ville Train Station (Gare de Nice-Ville). You can take tram line 1 from the city center to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Monaco-Monte Carlo. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Upon arriving at Monaco-Monte Carlo station, follow signs to exit the station, and then take the stairs or elevator to the main street.

  • Walking

    After exiting the Monaco-Monte Carlo train station, walk towards the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Head along the Boulevard des Moulins, then take a left on Avenue de Monte-Carlo. Continue walking until you reach the Place du Casino. From there, follow signs for the ‘Rock of Monaco’ or ‘Le Rocher’ heading uphill towards the Old Town (Monaco-Ville). It’s about a 15-minute walk from the casino.

  • Bus

    After arriving at Monaco-Monte Carlo train station, you can also take bus 1 or 2 from the station towards 'Monaco Ville'. The bus stop is right outside the station. Both lines go towards the Old Town where the Rock of Monaco is located. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Monaco-Ville' and follow the signs to the Rock.
