Walking
La Montgolfière is located in Monaco-Ville (also known as The Rock), the old city of Monaco. From the Place du Palais, walk down Rue Basse. The restaurant will be on your left. The walk is generally easy, but some streets in Monaco-Ville are steep and cobbled.

Public Transport
From the Monaco train station, take bus number 1 or 2 to the 'Place d'Armes' stop. From there, ascend to Monaco-Ville using the public elevators located near the Place d'Armes. Once in Monaco-Ville, follow signs towards the Prince's Palace, then walk down Rue Basse. Bus fare is approximately €2 per trip. The elevators are free.

Taxis are readily available throughout Monaco. A taxi from the Monte Carlo area to La Montgolfière in Monaco-Ville will cost a flat rate of €18. Be aware that traffic can be heavy at times, especially during peak hours.

If driving, the closest parking is Parking des Pêcheurs. From the parking, take the elevators up to the Oceanographic Museum and walk towards the Prince's Palace. Then walk down Rue Basse. Parking rates start at €2.80 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Parking for less than an hour is free.
