Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Port of Nice, head southeast along Quai des Deux Emmanuel towards Quai de l'Amiral Infernet. Continue walking along the waterfront, enjoying the views of the harbor. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the end of the quay. Here, you will see a path leading up to the Phare de Nice. Follow the path up the hill; it may be a bit steep, so take your time. As you ascend, enjoy the scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding coastline. The Phare de Nice will be at the top, marking the lighthouse's location.

    While walking is the most direct route from Port of Nice to Phare de Nice, you can also opt for a bus. From the Port, walk to the nearest bus stop on Quai des Deux Emmanuel. Take bus number 81 towards 'Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur'. Get off at the 'Mont Boron' stop. From there, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs towards the Parc du Mont Boron, and then take the path leading to the Phare de Nice. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.
