From the Port of Nice, head towards the eastern end of the port where the large ferry terminal is located. Walk along the Quai Lunel, which is a pleasant promenade along the water. Continue walking straight until you reach the Promenade des Anglais. At this point, take a left and follow the promenade until you see the entrance to the Colline du Château park. The park entrance is located at the base of the hill, and you will see signs indicating the way to Colline du Château.

If you prefer a quicker route, you can take the public bus from the Port of Nice. Head to the bus stop located at the entrance to the port. Look for Bus Line 14, which goes directly to Colline du Château. The ride takes about 10 minutes, and the bus will drop you off near the park entrance. Ensure you purchase a ticket from the ticket machine before boarding. Tickets typically cost around €1.50.

For a unique experience, you can take the funicular railway from the base of the hill to the top of Colline du Château. If you are walking, make your way to the Rue des Ponchettes, where you will find the funicular station. The ride takes just a couple of minutes and offers stunning views of Nice.
