If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch Tram Line 2 from the Port of Nice. Board the tram at the 'Port Lympia' stop, which is located near the port entrance. Ride the tram towards 'Cadam' and get off at the 'Garibaldi' stop. From Garibaldi, it's a 15-minute walk to the monument. Head south on Rue Cassini, then turn left onto Rue de la Préfecture, continuing until you reach Quai Rauba Capeu. Turn right, and the monument will be straight ahead. Note that a single tram ticket costs around €1.50.
