From Nîmes, head to the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), which is located at 10 Rue de la République. You can walk there from the city center or take the local bus. Once at the train station, board a train heading towards Arles. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Arles train station, exit the station and head left onto Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue des Alyscamps. Turn left onto Avenue des Alyscamps, and you will find the Alyscamps historical site a short walk ahead.

Bus
From the center of Nîmes, make your way to the bus station at 2 Boulevard de la Liberté. Look for the bus line that goes to Arles, specifically line 8 or 9. The bus ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Arles bus station, exit and turn right onto Boulevard des Lices. Continue walking straight until you reach Avenue des Alyscamps. Turn left, and you will find the Alyscamps historical site a short distance away.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Nîmes. Head out of the city on the D999 road towards Arles. The distance is approximately 30 kilometers and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Arles, follow the signs for Avenue des Alyscamps. The landmark will be accessible from the main road.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to discover the area, you can walk to Arles. The distance is about 30 kilometers and would take approximately 6-7 hours. Start by heading towards the D999 road. It’s advisable to leave early in the morning for this long walk and to ensure you have plenty of water and snacks.
