Start at the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes). Exit the station and head east on Boulevard Feuchères. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenue Jean Jaurès. Turn left onto Avenue Jean Jaurès and walk straight until you reach the Place de la République. From there, take Rue de la République which will lead you to the city center. Keep walking until you reach the Maison Carrée, a prominent Roman temple. Continue past this landmark and follow the Rue de la Madeleine, crossing over the Avenue de la République. This road will take you to the famous Amphitheater of Nîmes. Once you reach the Amphitheater, take Rue de la Calade which leads to Rue du Cirque. Continue on this route until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Maréchal Foch. Here, turn left and follow the road until you see the signs for the bus stop for the Arles bus (Bus Line 3).
