    From the central train station (Gare de Nîmes), exit the station and head west on Rue de la République. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the Place d'Assas. Turn left onto Rue de la République, which will lead you to the historic center of Nîmes. Walk for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at the Maison Carrée, a well-known landmark. From there, head east on Rue de la République and then take a right on Rue de la Calade. Continue walking straight until you reach the Hôtel de Ville. Finally, head north on Rue Jean Jaurès for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach 41 Cr Jean Jaurès, Avignon.
