If you are starting from the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), exit the station and head north on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout (Place de la République). From there, take the second exit onto Boulevard Amiral Courbet. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see Porte d'Auguste on your right at 25B Boulevard Amiral Courbet. It is a short walk and should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From the Nîmes train station (Gare de Nîmes), take Bus Line 1 (Direction: Parnasse) from the bus stop located just outside the station. Ride the bus for 3 stops and get off at 'Coupole'. From there, walk southeast on Boulevard Amiral Courbet for about 400 meters, and you will find Porte d'Auguste on your right at 25B Boulevard Amiral Courbet. The bus ride will take roughly 10 minutes, plus a 5-minute walk.

If you are near the Jardin de la Fontaine, exit the park and head southeast toward the Rue de la République. Walk straight until you reach the Place de la République roundabout. Take the second exit onto Boulevard Amiral Courbet and continue walking for about 800 meters. Porte d'Auguste will be on your right at 25B Boulevard Amiral Courbet. This walk will take approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport
From the city center (Place d'Assas), walk to the bus stop 'Assas' and take Bus Line 5 (Direction: Gare de Nîmes). After 4 stops, get off at 'Coupole'. Then, walk southeast on Boulevard Amiral Courbet for about 400 meters to reach Porte d'Auguste at 25B Boulevard Amiral Courbet. The total journey will take around 15-20 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
