Once you are in Caen, follow the signs to the Château de Caen. The Musée de Normandie is located within the castle complex. There is parking available near the castle, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around €1-€2 per hour.

For those using public transportation, take a train from major towns in Normandy Beaches, such as Bayeux or Arromanches, to Caen. Trains run regularly; check the SNCF website for the latest schedule. Once you arrive at Caen train station, exit and catch tram line A towards 'Gare routière.' Ride the tram for about 10 minutes and disembark at 'Château' station, which is a short walk to the Musée de Normandie. Tram tickets cost around €1.60.

From the city center, head towards Rue de la Liberté, follow it until you reach Rue de l'Université, then continue straight until you see the entrance to the Château de Caen.
