Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near a metro station, take Line 7 (the pink line) towards Villejuif – Louis Aragon. Get off at the 'Jussieu' station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to 'Jardin des Plantes'. As you exit the station, walk straight ahead and you will reach the main entrance of the Garden of the Botanical School in about 5 minutes.

    You can take Bus Line 89 from various locations in Paris. If you board the bus at 'Gare de Lyon', ride until you reach the 'Jardin des Plantes' stop. The Garden of the Botanical School is right across the street. You will see the entrance as you get off the bus.

    If you are in the Latin Quarter, you can walk to the Garden of the Botanical School. Start on Rue Monge and head towards Rue Cuvier. Continue walking straight; you will eventually see the entrance to the garden at Allée Becquerel. It should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
