  • Metro

    To reach the Jardins des Archives Nationales, take Line 1 of the Paris Metro. If you're starting from the iconic Louvre Museum, walk to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Board the train heading towards La Défense. After 3 stops, get off at Hôtel de Ville station. Upon exiting the station, head towards Rue de Rivoli, then turn left onto Rue de Rivoli. Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rue des Francs Bourgeois. Turn right onto Rue des Francs Bourgeois, and after a short walk, you'll find the gardens at number 60.

  • Bus

    You can also take Bus 38 from the Palais Royal area. Board the bus at Palais Royal - Comédie-Française stop and make sure to sit in the front for a nice view. The bus will take you directly to the stop called 'Rambuteau'. From there, walk straight along Rue Rambuteau until you reach the intersection with Rue des Francs Bourgeois. Turn left onto Rue des Francs Bourgeois and continue walking for a few minutes until you reach Jardins des Archives Nationales at number 60.

    If you prefer to walk, you can start from the Notre-Dame Cathedral. Head west along the Seine River towards the Pont de la Tournelle. Cross the bridge, and continue straight on Rue Saint-Antoine.
