If you're starting from anywhere in central Paris, the Paris Metro is a convenient option. Take Line 1 (the yellow line) to Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs towards the Louvre Museum. You will enter the Cour Napoléon courtyard, where the Louvre Pyramid is located. The pyramid is easily visible as you approach the museum from the courtyard.

You can also take a bus to reach the Louvre Pyramid. Look for bus lines 21, 27, 39, 48, or 95, which stop nearby. Get off at the Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre stop. From there, walk towards the Louvre Museum through the Cour Napoléon where the pyramid is located. It’s a short walk and very straightforward.

If you are already in the vicinity of the Louvre, walking is a pleasant option. From the nearby Tuileries Garden, head northeast towards the museum. Cross the Rue de Rivoli to enter the Cour Napoléon courtyard. The Louvre Pyramid will be directly in front of you. Alternatively, if you're near the Seine River, walk along the riverbank heading towards Pont des Arts, then cross the bridge and walk straight towards the museum.

For those who prefer cycling, Paris offers a great bike-sharing service called Vélib. Locate a Vélib station and rent a bike. Head towards the Louvre by following the signs to the center of Paris.
