Getting There

• Metro

  To reach Place de la République - Square André Tollet via the Paris Metro, find your way to any Metro station. If you are near the Louvre, take Line 1 (Yellow) towards La Défense. Change at Châtelet station to Line 4 (Purple) towards Porte de Clignancourt. Get off at the République station. Exit the station, and you will find yourself at the Place de la République. The square is easily recognizable by its large statue in the center.

• Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, look for a nearby bus stop. You can take Bus 75 or Bus 56. If you are near the Opéra Garnier, board Bus 75 towards Gare de Lyon. Get off at the République stop. The square is just a short walk from the bus stop, and you will see the statue as you approach.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of the Canal Saint-Martin, it's a pleasant walk to Place de la République. Head southwest along the Canal, passing by the charming cafés and shops. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de Magenta. Turn right onto Boulevard de Magenta, and you will see Place de la République ahead. The square is a vibrant area filled with locals and tourists.

• Bicycle

  For those who are comfortable biking, you can use the Vélib' bike-sharing system available throughout Paris. Find a nearby Vélib' station and rent a bike. Head towards the Rue du Faubourg du Temple, then turn left onto Boulevard de Magenta. Follow this road until you reach Place de la République. There are bike lanes along the route, making it safe and enjoyable.
