Getting there

Metro

If you are near a Metro station, take Line 1 (the yellow line) towards La Défense. Get off at the 'Châtelet' station. From there, follow the signs to 'Pont Neuf' exit. Once you exit the station, you will see the Seine River in front of you. Walk towards the river and cross the 'Pont Neuf' bridge. The Square du Vert-Galant will be on your right as you reach the end of the bridge.

Bus

Catch Bus 21 at any nearby bus stop. This bus route takes you through central Paris. Get off at the 'Pont Neuf' stop. Once you alight, walk towards the Seine River and head to the right side of the bridge. The Square du Vert-Galant is located at the end of the Pont Neuf, right beside the river.

Walking

If you are already in the vicinity of Île de la Cité or the Latin Quarter, simply walk towards the Seine River. Locate the 'Pont Neuf' bridge and walk across it. The Square du Vert-Galant is located at the western tip of the island, right at the end of the bridge. It’s a short walk, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.
