A Stroll Down the Iconic Avenue Montaigne

Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near the Palais Garnier (Opéra), take Metro Line 8 from Opéra station towards Balard. Get off at the next stop, which is Madeleine. At Madeleine, transfer to Line 14 towards Olympiades. After two stops, get off at the Champs-Élysées - Clemenceau station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Av. Montaigne. It is approximately a 10-minute walk straight down Avenue des Champs-Élysées, then turn left onto Avenue Montaigne.

• Bus

  If you are near the Arc de Triomphe, you can take Bus Line 73 from Charles de Gaulle - Étoile towards Gare de Lyon. Get off at the stop called 'George V'. From there, it's a short walk to Av. Montaigne. Head southeast on Avenue des Champs-Élysées, then turn left onto Avenue Montaigne. You will reach your destination in about 5 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are near the Seine River, start by walking towards the Pont de la Concorde bridge. Cross the bridge, and upon reaching the other side, turn right onto Rue de Rivoli. Continue walking until you reach Place de la Concorde. From there, walk towards Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Once you are on Avenue des Champs-Élysées, walk straight until you reach Avenue Montaigne, which is about a 15-minute walk.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply tell the driver 'Avenue Montaigne, s'il vous plaît'. The driver will take you directly to the location. This is especially convenient if you're traveling with a group or have luggage.
