Walking
From the center of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the Notre-Dame Gate is easily accessible on foot. Head towards Rue de la Citadelle, the main cobbled street, and follow it downhill. The gate is located at the end of the street, next to the Pont Romain (Roman Bridge). No costs are associated with walking to the gate.

If arriving by train at the Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port station, it's approximately a 10-15 minute walk to the Notre-Dame Gate. Exit the station and head towards Rue de la Citadelle, following signs to the town center. The gate will be at the end of this street. Car
If driving, follow the D933 road towards the town center. Parking is available in nearby public parking lots, such as Parking des Fauvettes. Be aware that access to the historic center by car may be restricted during high season. Parking fees typically cost around €1.50 per hour. Consider parking at Parking des Fauvettes, near the marketplace, a short walk from the gate.
