The park's history dates back to its origins as a 'closerie,' a complete agricultural operation with gardens, orchards, and vineyards. The city of Angers acquired the land in 1972, with the vision of creating a large green space for recreation and relaxation.The garden is characterized by its diverse recreational activities and natural beauty.
