Getting there

Walking

From the center of Prayols, follow the marked trail leading towards Cascade de la Piche. The hike is approximately 3 km and takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The path can be steep in places, so wear appropriate hiking footwear. There is no cost for accessing the trail.

Public Transport

From Toulouse, take a train to Foix (approximately 1 hour). From Foix, take a local bus towards Prayols, but check the timetable ahead of your visit as the bus may run infrequently. Get off at the Prayols stop, and from there, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to Cascade de la Piche. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions. Expect to pay around €5-€10 for the bus from Foix [Estimates based on local bus fares].

Car

From Foix, take the D119 road towards Prayols. After about 20 km, continue on the D119 until you reach the village of Prayols. Follow the directional signs towards the Cascade de la Piche. There is a small parking area available near the waterfall, but be prepared for limited spaces during peak visiting times. Parking is free. The drive from Foix is approximately 25 km.
