From the center of Rennes, head southeast towards Rue de la Monnaie. Continue straight until you reach Place de la République. From there, take Rue de l'Horloge and follow it until you reach Rue de la Visitation. Turn left onto Quai Émile Zola. The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes will be on your left at number 20. The entire walk should take about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

Find the nearest bus stop in Centre, such as 'République'. Take bus line 5 towards 'La Poterie'. Get off at the stop 'Gare' and then transfer to bus line 1 towards 'Cleunay'. Get off at the stop 'Musée des Beaux-Arts'. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs. The bus ticket will cost approximately €1.50.

If you're near a metro station in Centre, take Line A towards 'J.F. Kennedy'. Get off at the 'République' station. From there, transfer to Line B towards 'Jardin des Plantes'.
