    From Place Saint-Melaine, walk east along Rue de la Palestine. The entrance to Parc du Thabor will be on your right. Once inside the park, follow the signs to the Volière, which is located in the western part of the park, not far from the French garden. The walk is generally flat and should take no more than 10 minutes. Admission to the park is free.
