Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in Rhône-Alpes, head towards Lyon. Use the A7 motorway and follow the signs for Lyon. Once you reach the city, take the exit for 'Lyon Centre'. From there, navigate to Rue de la République, which is a central street in Lyon. Continue on Rue de la République until you reach Place Colbert. Parking can be found in nearby garages, such as 'Parking Cordeliers' or 'Parking Opéra' which typically costs around €2.50 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a train or bus to Lyon. If traveling by train, arrive at Lyon Part-Dieu station. From there, take Metro Line B (the blue line) towards Oullins and get off at the 'Vieux Lyon' station. Upon exiting the station, walk towards the Saône River and then follow the signs to Rue de la République. Continue walking until you reach Place Colbert. • Walking

  If you are already in the Vieux Lyon area, you can easily walk to Traboule et Cour des Voraces. Start from the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière, head down the hill towards Rue du Boeuf, and then turn left onto Rue Saint-Jean. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la République, then turn right. Walk until you arrive at Place Colbert. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes and provides a beautiful view of the old city.
