Continue straight on Rue Saint-Romain until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right onto Rue de la République and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Place de la République, which will be on your left. You will see a large square with trees and benches.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near the Rouen Rive Droite train station, you can take the tram line T1. Exit the station and walk to the tram stop 'Gare Rive Droite'. Board the T1 tram towards 'Parc Jardin des Plantes'. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Place de la République'. The square will be directly in front of you as you exit the tram.

    From the historic area around Place du Vieux-Marché, head northeast on Rue Saint-Étienne. Continue straight until you reach Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk for approximately 15 minutes. Place de la République will be on your right, marked by its large open space.
