Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the old town (Intra Muros), head towards the main gate, Porte Saint-Vincent. Once you exit the gate, turn left onto the quayside path (Quai Duguay-Trouin) that runs along the waterfront. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the Fort National, which will be on your right. Keep walking along the path, and it will lead you toward the Cale de Solidor. You will see the signs pointing towards the Solidor Tower. The Cale de Solidor is directly at the base of the tower, along the harbor.

  • Bus

    From the central bus station (Gare Routière), take Bus Line 1 towards Saint-Servan. Get off at the stop called 'Cale de Solidor.' From the bus stop, walk straight ahead and you will see the Cale de Solidor in front of you, along with the Solidor Tower.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, head out from the old town and follow the bike path along the coast. Pedal toward the Fort National, and from there continue along the waterfront path. You will find signs directing you to the Cale de Solidor. It’s a scenic ride, and you will enjoy the views of the harbor as you approach your destination.
