Walking
If you are starting from the Intra-Muros area of Saint-Malo, head south towards the Rue de la Cité. Continue walking straight until you reach the Place Chateaubriand. From there, take the Rue de la Vigne, which will lead you to the beautiful coastal path along the beach. Follow this path, enjoying the views of the sea. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will come to the Promenade du Sillon. Continue along this promenade, keeping the beach on your left. After about 500 meters, you will see the Hommage au Commandant Charcot sculpture on your right, located near the water's edge. It is an easily identifiable landmark, perfect for taking photos.
Public Transport
Begin your journey at the Saint-Malo train station (Gare de Saint-Malo). From there, take Bus Line 3 towards 'La Bastille'. Ride the bus for two stops and disembark at 'Les Sablons'. Once you exit the bus, head towards the beach by walking straight until you reach the coast. Turn right and follow the path along the beach. After a short walk of about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at the Hommage au Commandant Charcot sculpture, which will be on your right side, near the promenade.
