Walking
If you are starting from the center of Saint-Tropez, make your way to the port area. From the main square (Place des Lices), head towards the marina. Walk along the waterfront, enjoying the views of the yachts and the sea. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the marina. From here, look for signs pointing towards Plage des Graniers or follow the Rue des Gendarmes. This road will lead you away from the busy port area. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will start to notice a more tranquil atmosphere. Keep an eye out for the beach signs. Follow Rue des Gendarmes until you reach the beach entrance. The walk should take approximately 30 minutes total.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from local shops in Saint-Tropez. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the port. Follow the same route as for walking, but instead of walking, cycle along the waterfront. The path is suitable for bikes, and you can enjoy the sea breeze as you ride. Once you reach the end of the marina, continue on Rue des Gendarmes. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on your speed. Keep an eye out for the beach signs to guide you towards Plage des Graniers.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transport, check the local bus schedules at the Saint-Tropez bus station. Look for a bus heading towards the surrounding beach areas. Buses typically run frequently during the summer months. Get off at the nearest stop to Plage des Graniers, which is usually labeled clearly. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the beach entrance, taking about 5-10 minutes. Make sure to check the bus timetable for return trips as well.
