Parc de l'Étoile, located in the heart of Strasbourg, is a verdant escape from the urban bustle. Created in 1937, Place de l'Étoile has a rich history. In the 15th century, the Saint-Marc convent was located northwest of the current square until its destruction in 1475. In the late 19th century, the 'local station' for trams was built on the Marksgarten grounds, serving as the departure point for suburban network trams.
