Since 1932, the Fahrer family has cultivated their vineyards with a deep respect for the land, producing exceptional Alsace wines that reflect the region's unique terroir. Today, Raphaël Fahrer, the fourth-generation winemaker, leads the estate, continuing the family's commitment to sustainable practices and organic viticulture. The 11-hectare vineyard is spread across seven different terroirs, allowing for a diverse range of wines with distinct personalities and flavors. Visitors can explore the estate through guided tours, discovering the history of the winery and the secrets of Alsace winemaking. The winery cultivates the seven noble grape varieties of Alsace: Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat, and Chasselas. This allows them to produce a wide variety of wines, including Crémants, rosé wines, and special cuvées. A guided tasting at the end of the tour allows you to appreciate the richness of the estate's wines and learn about the subtleties of the winemaker's craft. Sylvie Fahrer & Son also offers cozy guest rooms, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Alsatian wine.
