Getting There

  • Walking

    From Place du Capitole, walk south towards Rue de la Pomme, continuing straight until you reach the Garonne River. Turn left and follow the riverbank for about 15 minutes until you see the entrance to Toulouse Plage at Prairie des Filtres. Walking is free.

  • Public Transport

    Take Metro Line A to either Esquirol or Saint-Cyprien station. From Esquirol, walk towards Rue de la Bourse and take the stairs down to the river, then follow the riverbank to the left. From Saint-Cyprien, exit onto Rue de la République and head south, turning left onto Avenue de la Garonne towards the river. A single metro ticket costs around €1.80.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bike from a Vélô Toulouse station and cycle towards the Garonne River. Follow the bike paths along the river to Prairie des Filtres. Bike rentals start at around €1.20 for 1 hour. Note that bikes are prohibited inside Toulouse Plages.
