The Hall of Mirrors, or *Galerie des Glaces*, is the most iconic room in the Palace of Versailles, a dazzling testament to the power and artistry of 17th-century France. Built between 1678 and 1684, it replaced a less practical terrace that once stood between the King's and Queen's apartments.
