Walking
From the Palace of Versailles, exit the main building and follow signs towards the Gardens. Continue past the Latona Fountain and the Apollo Fountain. The Jardin du Roi is located near the Orangerie, a short walk from the main garden paths. Follow the signs for 'Jardin du Roi'.
Public Transport
From Versailles Château Rive Gauche station, walk towards the Palace of Versailles. Enter the gardens and follow the walking directions above. Alternatively, take the little train from the Palace to a stop closer to the Orangerie, reducing the walking distance. A single journey on the little train costs €5.
