Walking
From the center of Versailles, head towards the Rive Droite train station (Gare de Versailles-Rive Droite). Exit the station and walk straight along Rue de la Paroisse until you reach the intersection with Rue des Réservoirs. Continue straight, and soon you will come to the main road, Rue de la République. Turn right and head towards the train station. Once at the train station, you can take the RER C train towards Paris. Get off at the station 'Gare d'Austerlitz' and transfer to the RER A train towards 'Châtelet - Les Halles'. After a few stops, change to the Metro Line 7 at 'Châtelet' station towards 'Villejuif - Louis Aragon'. Get down at the 'Opéra' station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs for Pl. de l'Opéra, which is located just a short walk away.
Bus
From the center of Versailles, make your way to the main bus stop, 'Gare de Versailles-Chantiers'. Here, take the Bus Line 171 towards 'La Défense'. Stay on the bus until you reach 'La Defense' and then transfer to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro towards 'Château de Vincennes'. After a few stops, transfer at 'Châtelet' to the Metro Line 7 towards 'Villejuif - Louis Aragon'. Get off at 'Opéra' station. Exit the station, and you will find yourself at Pl. de l'Opéra.
Train
From Versailles, head to the Gare de Versailles-Rive Droite. Purchase a ticket to Paris. Board the train towards 'Gare Saint-Lazare'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Gare Saint-Lazare', exit the station and walk to the nearest Metro entrance. Take Metro Line 3 towards 'Gallieni'. Change at 'Opéra' station. After exiting the station, follow the signs to Pl. de l'Opéra, which is a short walk from the station exit.
