Start at the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Exit the station and head straight on Rue de la Paroisse. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Bride. Turn left onto Rue de la Bride, then take the first right onto Rue de Montreuil. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk towards the main square (Place d'Armes) in front of the Palace of Versailles. From there, you can catch a bus or take the train to Paris. Take the RER C train from Versailles Château Rive Gauche station towards Paris. Disembark at Gare d'Austerlitz and transfer to metro line 5 towards Bobigny-Pablo Picasso. Get off at Gare du Nord and transfer to RER B towards Mitry-Claye. Disembark at La Chapelle station. Walk to Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, where the Basilica of the Sacred Heart is located.
Bus
From the Versailles city center, walk to the bus stop at Place d'Armes. Take bus line 171 towards Saint-Cyr-l'École and disembark at the 'Gare de Versailles Rive Droite' stop. From there, take the train towards Paris Saint-Lazare. Once you arrive at Paris Saint-Lazare, transfer to metro line 13 towards Châtillon – Montrouge. Get off at the 'Lamarck - Caulaincourt' station. From there, follow the signs to Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, which is a short walk uphill to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
Train
Begin at the Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station. Take the RER C train towards Paris and disembark at Gare d'Austerlitz. From there, navigate to the metro system and take line 5 towards Bobigny-Pablo Picasso. Get off at Gare du Nord. From Gare du Nord, transfer to the RER B towards Mitry-Claye. Disembark at La Chapelle station, then walk towards Rue du Chevalier de la Barre to reach the Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
