Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Exit the station and head straight on Rue de la Paroisse. Continue until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Bride. Turn left onto Rue de la Bride, then take the first right onto Rue de Montreuil. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk towards the main square (Place d'Armes) in front of the Palace of Versailles. From there, you can catch a bus or take the train to Paris. Take the RER C train from Versailles Château Rive Gauche station towards Paris. Disembark at Gare d'Austerlitz and transfer to metro line 5 towards Bobigny-Pablo Picasso. Get off at Gare du Nord and transfer to RER B towards Mitry-Claye. Disembark at La Chapelle station. Walk to Rue du Chevalier de la Barre, where the Basilica of the Sacred Heart is located.
