Getting there

Taxi

From Vaitape, the main town on Bora Bora, taxis are available to Matira Beach where Bora Diving Center is located. Agree on a fare before starting your journey, as fares can vary. Expect to pay around 1,500 XPF (approximately $13 USD) as a starting price, plus 130 XPF (approximately $1.15 USD) per kilometer. A 5km ride would cost around 651 XPF. Taxi charges increase after 7 pm.

Resort Shuttle

Many resorts in Bora Bora offer shuttle services to Vaitape. From there, you can take a taxi to Bora Diving Center on Matira Beach. Some resorts offer complimentary shuttles, while others charge a fee. Check with your resort for schedules and pricing. Paid resort transfers can cost $50-$150 per person for a round trip.
