Boat
To reach Ia Orana Pearl Farm, begin at Raiatea, the closest island with an airport. From Raiatea Airport, take a taxi to the main marina in Uturoa. Several boat services operate between Raiatea and Tahaa. The boat ride typically takes 30-45 minutes. Upon arrival at the Tahaa dock, you can either take a taxi boat or walk to the pearl farm. Follow signs towards Tapu'amu and ask locals for directions. Boat shuttle services like Enota Transport Maritime (ETM) and Tahaa Transport Rapide (TTR) offer regular shuttles. A one way trip is about $13 per person. Water taxi services are also available for around 2,000 XPF.
