Getting there

Boat

To reach Manuia Bar, head towards Vaitape, the main town on Bora Bora. Take a water taxi from your hotel to Vaitape; many hotels offer shuttle services. From Vaitape, hire a local boat service to Manuia Bar, located on a small beach area. Confirm the exact drop-off point with the boat driver. Water taxi fares from resorts to Vaitape can vary; inquire about private transfer boats for potentially more affordable options. Boat charter is a main form of transport as Bora Bora's unique geographic layout has a ring of little islands surrounding the main island.

Walking

If you're already in Vaitape, walk towards the main road and head in the direction of the beach. Follow signs to the marina area, where a path leads to Manuia Bar. It's a pleasant walk along the waterfront with beautiful lagoon views. Walking is free.

Taxi

From anywhere on the main island, a taxi can take you to a suitable drop-off point near Manuia Bar. Taxis can be hailed or pre-booked. Fares vary, so check and agree on a price before starting your ride. As a general guideline, the starting price of a taxi in Bora Bora is 1,500 XPF, with each KM priced at 130 XPF. A 5km ride in Bora Bora costs about 651 XPF.
