Discover more about Bora Bora Lagoonarium

The Bora Bora Lagoonarium is a unique, family-owned marine park located on a private motu (islet) near Motu Piti Anau. This natural aquarium offers visitors an intimate experience with a variety of lagoon and open-water fish and marine life, including turtles, sharks, rays, jackfish, and parrotfish. Unlike the open lagoon, the Lagoonarium provides a controlled environment where marine life is kept in a designated area, allowing for close encounters under the supervision of experienced guides. This makes it an ideal spot for families and beginners to learn how to snorkel in a safe and enclosed setting. Visitors can participate in guided snorkeling tours, hand-feed schools of fish, and observe daily ray and shark feeding demonstrations. Full-day tours often include a Polynesian barbecue lunch and a canoe tour. The Lagoonarium also focuses on marine conservation, with weekly maintenance performed by marine biologists to ensure the health of the coral and marine life.
