Mont Rotui, rising 899 meters, is a prominent mountain in northern Moorea, French Polynesia, separating Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay. Bus
From Vai'are ferry terminal, take the bus heading north towards Faimano Village. Inform the driver that you want to climb Mount Rotui, and they will stop along the route. From the bus stop in Faimano Village, walk down the driveway marked by a sign reading “Art Deko”. Proceed until you see another sign labeled “Rotui“ with an arrow pointing to the right, which leads to the trailhead. Bus fare is approximately $3 USD (€2.50) each way.
Car
From Moorea Airport, head south on the main coastal road (Route de Ceinture). Continue for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa. The trailhead for Mount Rotui is located near the resort. You can find parking nearby or at the public beach – Ta'ahiamanu – a 10-minute walk from the trailhead, where you can park for free.
