Getting There

Walking
If you are staying in Maharepa, start by heading to the main road (Route de la Plage) and walk towards the south. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction with Route de l'Ananas. Turn left and continue walking for another 20 minutes. You'll see signs pointing towards Public Beach. Follow these signs, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the beach.

From your accommodation, rent a bicycle and head towards the main road (Route de la Plage). Pedal south for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route de l'Ananas. Turn left and ride for another 2 kilometers. You should see signs for Public Beach; follow these signs. The beach will be on your right side.

Find the nearest bus stop that services the local bus route and catch a bus heading towards the southern part of the island. Inform the driver that you wish to disembark at Public Beach.
