Walking
Pā'ōfa'i Gardens is easily accessible on foot from many points in central Papeete. From the Papeete Market, head towards the waterfront on Boulevard Pomare in a southwest direction. Continue until you reach Rue Gaston Flosse, turn left, and the gardens will be on your right. The walk is approximately 20-25 minutes. There is no admission fee.
Public Transport
From the central bus station in Papeete, take the number 1 bus towards Fa'a'ā. Inform the driver you wish to stop at Pā'ōfa'i Gardens. After a 10-15 minute ride, walk a short distance back towards the waterfront to find the entrance. The bus fare is typically between 200-300 XPF.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Papeete. A short taxi ride from the Papeete Market or ferry terminal to Pā'ōfa'i Gardens will cost approximately 1,500 XPF during the day. Be sure to agree on the fare with the driver before starting your trip.
