To reach Motu Tautau, start from Raiatea Airport (RFP), which has direct flights from Tahiti and Bora Bora. From the airport, take a free Air Tahiti boat to Taha'a. Note that many hotels offer free airport transfers for their guests. From the main island of Taha'a, arrange for a local boat transfer to Motu Tautau. The Apetahi Express ferry also operates from Uturoa (Raiatea) to Tapu'amu (Taha'a) three times a week, with tickets costing between $3 and $40. From Tapu'amu, you will need to take a local boat to Motu Tautau. Ensure you negotiate the price beforehand. The boat ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
