To reach Toatea Lookout using public transportation, take a bus from the ferry terminal to the town of Te'avaro. From there, you may need to walk or take a taxi to the lookout point. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited. The bus fare is approximately 300 XPF. A taxi from the bus stop to the lookout will cost approximately 1500 XPF base fee, plus 130 XPF per kilometer.

From the Moorea ferry terminal, exit the terminal and look for a local bus or shuttle service that can take you to Te'avaro. You can ask locals or ferry staff for the best options available. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to go to Toatea Lookout. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. After getting off at the nearest stop, you will need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes uphill to reach the lookout.
