From the provincial capital, Franceville, take the N1 highway heading west. Continue for about 150 kilometers until you reach the junction near the town of Koulamoutou. Turn left onto the road that leads to the Ogooue River. Follow the signs for the river; the area is well-marked. Please ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be unpaved. Expect to spend around 3-4 hours on the road, depending on traffic and road conditions.
