Walking
From the Akhaltsikhe Bus Station, head northeast on Tsereteli Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Gamsakhurdia Street. Turn left onto Gamsakhurdia Street and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see a sign pointing to Sultan Ahmad Mosque on your right. Follow the sign and take the path leading into a small park. The mosque is located within the park area, just a short walk from the path. Walking from Rabati Fortress, exit the fortress and head southwest towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk for about 1 kilometer. Look for the distinct minaret on your right.
Public Transport
From Rabati Castle, walk to the nearest bus stop on Javakhishvili Street. Board any bus heading towards Akhaltsikhe city center. The fare is typically around 1 GEL. Disembark at the stop closest to the Sultan Ahmad Mosque, approximately 300 meters from the bus stop. Walk towards the mosque, following the signs.
Taxi
Taxis are available throughout Akhaltsikhe. A short taxi ride within the city center to the Sultan Ahmad Mosque should cost approximately 5 GEL. Ensure the driver is aware of the destination or use a ride-hailing app for clarity. There are no unavoidable tolls or parking fees associated with reaching the mosque by taxi.
