Walking
From anywhere in the Abanotubani sulfur bath district, the waterfall is easily accessible on foot. Follow the path along the Leghvtakhevi Gorge, past the Orbeliani Baths (the colorful bathhouse), and continue through the bridges over the small river. The waterfall is located at the end of the path. There are no costs associated with walking to the waterfall.
Public Transport
If arriving by metro, take Line 1 or 2 to Freedom Square Station. From there, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Abanotubani and the Leghvtakhevi Waterfall. Alternatively, numerous buses stop near Freedom Square. A single ride on the bus or metro costs 1 GEL and can be paid using a MetroMoney card. The Metromoney card itself costs 2 GEL. You can also use a Georgian bank card to pay the fare.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Bolt are readily available in Tbilisi. A short taxi ride from the city center (e.g., Freedom Square) to Abanotubani will typically cost between 5-10 GEL. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver or check the app estimate before starting your trip.
