Founded by brothers Giorgi and Gela Khutsishvili in 2015, the winery builds on generations of family tradition, blending time-honored methods with a passion for promoting Georgian wine, cuisine, and culture. Visitors are welcomed into a rustic setting filled with the aromas of aging wine. The Khutsishvili family uses traditional winemaking techniques, including fermentation in qvevri, large clay vessels buried in the ground. This method, dating back centuries, allows for natural temperature control and unique flavor development. Guests can take guided tours to learn about the winemaking process, from vineyard to bottle, and sample a variety of local wines. The family, including the brothers' mother, Tamari Ramazashvili, actively participates in welcoming guests and sharing Kakhuri dishes. The winery produces several varieties of red and white wines. The first harvest in 2015 used the Rkatsiteli grape variety, fermented in two-century-old qvevri. Visitors can also participate in making Khinkali and Churchkhela. The Brothers Khutsishvili Wine Cellar provides comfortable accommodations, offering family rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and garden views.
