Sataplia Nature Reserve: A Journey Through Time and Nature

Sataplia Nature Reserve, located just 10 km from Kutaisi in the Imereti region of Georgia, is a captivating destination that blends geological wonders, paleontological discoveries, and lush Colchian forests. Established in 1935, the reserve was created to protect the area's unique features, including a karst cave, dinosaur footprints, and the surrounding ecosystem. The footprints are preserved inside a conservation building, with a nearby pavilion displaying dinosaur skeletons.
