Confirm with the bus driver that they stop at or near Senaki. The journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Upon reaching Senaki, ask the driver or locals for directions to Shkhepi Fortress which is located about 5 km from the bus station.

Once you arrive in Senaki from Kutaisi, you can opt to walk to Shkhepi Fortress. Head east from the bus station towards the central square. From the square, take the road heading north, which will lead you out of the town. After approximately 1 km, you can either continue walking or look for a local taxi or minibus that might take you closer to the fortress. The fortress itself is located on a hill, so be prepared for a bit of a climb once you get nearer.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly from Kutaisi to Shkhepi Fortress. Although this option is more expensive, it is the most direct and convenient way to reach your destination. You can find taxis near the main square in Kutaisi. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as there are no meters. The taxi ride should take about 30 minutes, and you can instruct the driver to take you to the fortress near Senaki.
