From the center of Marneuli, follow the main road towards the village of Sadakhlo, which is close to the Armenian border. Continue past Sadakhlo, heading towards the village of Chanakhchi. From Chanakhchi, the road becomes a dirt track leading towards the monastery. Due to the challenging terrain, a vehicle with high clearance is recommended. Note that reaching Khorakert requires a special permit due to its location in a border zone. The drive from Marneuli to Chanakhchi typically takes around 45 minutes, and the final stretch to the monastery can take an additional 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. There are no tolls or parking fees in the immediate vicinity of the monastery.
