If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. Take the E60 highway heading south towards Gori. After approximately 80 kilometers (around 1 hour), take the exit towards Gori and follow the signs for Uplistsikhe. Once you reach Gori, continue on the local road (Uplistsikhe Complex Road) for about 15 kilometers until you arrive at the Uplistsikhe site. There is parking available at the entrance of the site. Be aware that there may be a small entrance fee, typically around 3 GEL per person.

Public Transportation - Marshrutka
For those using public transportation, you can catch a marshrutka (minibus) from the Didube Bus Station in Tbilisi to Gori. The ride takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs around 7 GEL. Once you arrive in Gori, you can either take a taxi or another marshrutka heading to Uplistsikhe. Taxis from Gori to Uplistsikhe usually cost around 15 GEL for a one-way trip and take about 15 minutes.
