Continue for about 3 km until you see the parking area for Jvari Monastery on your right. From the parking area, the hiking trail to Jvari Monastery begins.

From Mtskheta town center, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Tbilisi; these minibuses frequently depart from the main square. After about 10 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the Jvari Monastery stop. Once you get off, you will see signs leading to the hiking trail. Follow these signs to start your hike.
