If you're driving from Mtskheta, head east on A1 towards Tbilisi. After approximately 5 km, take the exit towards Mtskheta and follow the signs for Jvari Monastery. The road will lead you uphill. Continue for about 3 km until you see the parking area for Jvari Monastery on your right. From the parking area, the hiking trail to Jvari Monastery begins.
